    We wrote poems about WWI because we were remembering the people who fought in the war and who died. We wear a Poppy (red) because we fought in Belgium where there are fields of Poppies and we fought in those fields, you don’t have to wear a poppy. There is a Poppy which is white, when people wear them is because they want war to stop and they want peace. This Poppy is called a Peace Poppy.

    Vetrans day is on wold war one, so I belive it is a celebration of peace.
